I love teaching children’s yoga because it awakens my inner child.

I have taught for fifteen years. Teaching children’s yoga has won over my heart because yoga naturally incorporates themes of mindfulness, which spark the curiosity and wonder inside of me. I use music and rhythm to engage children, my songs reinforce postures and sequences. In addition to having fun singing and practicing, mindfulness-based teachings are infused into my classes. Children can use these tools to connect with their inner selves. With practice, my students will be able to incorporate teachings into their lives.

I have taught yoga for 8 years and am a certified Children’s Yoga and Mindfulness Instructor through Little Flower Yoga. I have received multiple grants to create yoga and mindfulness curriculums for Early Childhood ages and have presented to parents and teachers at two prestigious conferences, the National Kids Yoga Conference and the Young Child Expo. For 10 years, I have enjoyed having a private teaching practice for children ages 3 - 12.
